Background

Summer 2026

This summer I will be interning with the Flex automation team in Austin, Tx. At the time of writing this, I’m still a few weeks away from orientation day, but I was able to tour sometime last year, and I'm looking forward to working with the team at this amazing facility.

Summer 2025

I interned at Four Points Platinum Manufacturing in Austin, Tx as a CNC programmer, where I was assigned a lathe from the 90s that had sat idle for a few years. After a deep cleaning, hours of troubleshooting with FANUC's help line, and a few custom parts, I brought it back into working condition. I later added a bar puller and macro to automate stock feeding, reducing time needed to tend the machine. In my final weeks I set up a post-processor for a 3+1 axis mill and was able to create a program that brought an outsourced part back in-house.

2024

I enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering program at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi where I will be entering my junior year this fall and starting my first year as the communications coordinator for the Islander Cyber Society.

2021 - 2024

My high school had a large FFA program and I took every agricultural mechanics course that was offered. Because of my interest, a few friends and I formed a team that competed in some of the FFA skills contests hosted at different collages. This, along with an interest for making things that I pursued at home, turned me into a passionate and skilled fabricator by the time of my high school graduation.
